TSARP Maps become Effective FEMA Maps

TSARP Status
The Tropical Storm Allison Recovery Project is finished.  On June 18th, 2007 the maps and models created by the Tropical Storm Allison Recovery Project became the FEMA effective maps and models.  As a result any previously released maps and models are now null and void.  The effective models can be ordered through the Model and Map Management System (M3) which is located at www.hcfcd.org/m3.

Recent Events

June 18, 2007
- Revised Preliminary FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps become the effective maps for both flood insurance and permitting for all affected areas inside Harris County and the City of Houston.

December 18, 2006
- FEMA issues the Letter of Final Determination to each of the affected NFIP communities in Harris County

June 14, 2006
- Revised Preliminary FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps, models and backup data are released on the TSARP website

June 9, 2006
- FEMA sends out acceptance letters for Appeals and Protests

August 9, 2005
- Information about TSARP Appeals and Protests is added to the TSARP website Interactive Mapping Tool

July 21, 2005
- FEMA completes the initial review of all appeals and protests

March 26, 2005
- The official 90-day Appeal and Protest Period ends for Deer Park

March 24, 2005
- The official 90-day Appeal and Protest Period ends for the Kingsbridge MUD

March 23, 2005
- The official 90-day Appeal and Protest Period ends for Baytown, Bunker Hill Village, Galena Park, Hedwig Village, Houston, Hunter's Creek Village, Jacinto City, Jersey Village, Pasadena, Piney Point Village, Spring Valley, South Houston, Tomball, and Unincorporated Harris County

March 22, 2005
- The official 90-day Appeal and Protest Period ends for El Lago, La Porte, Morgan's Point, Nassau Bay, Pearland, Seabrook, Shoreacres, Taylor Lake Village, Webster, and West University

March 21, 2005
- The official 90-day Appeal and Protest Period ends for Bellaire, Humble and Southside Place
